SRCC is one of the largest and most active recreational cycling clubs in Northern California
The Wine Country Century is produced and sponsored by The Santa Rosa Cycling Club (SRCC), a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization established in 1968. Our 1,100+ member club offers weekly, monthly, and annual rides and events for recreational cyclists. Our club calendar features an average of over 40 scheduled rides every month, for a range of riders’ abilities and preferences. The largest number of club rides are designated “A/B,” covering an average of 30-35 miles with 800-1,500’ of ascending on a typical route, at an average of 12-14 mph. All rides include a rest stop at a local establishment to enjoy coffee, a snack, and camaraderie. Club activities, including regular rides, are typically very social and welcoming to new members. The annual Summer Ride & Picnic and New Year’s Day Ride and Brunch are free to members and great fun. Monthly Members’ Meetings (at a local pizza parlor) are a great way for new members to get to know others and learn more about the club. Members attending for the first time get a meal and beverage on the club!
The Wine Country Century is SRCC’s flagship event and largest fundraiser. All revenue after expenses goes to support the activities of the club, cycling advocacy, and a wide range of community charitable causes.
