SRCC is one of the largest and most active recreational cycling clubs in Northern California

The Wine Country Century is produced and sponsored by The Santa Rosa Cycling Club (SRCC), a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization established in 1968. Our 1,100+ member club offers weekly, monthly, and annual rides and events for recreational cyclists. We ride together for fitness, mental health, and social connection.

Active Calendar. Our club calendar features an average of over 40 scheduled rides every month, for a range of riders’ abilities and preferences.

Riding for Recreation and Connection. The largest number of club rides are designated “A/B,” covering an average of 30-35 miles with 800-1,500’ of ascending on a typical route, at an average of 12-14 mph. Other rides suit faster riders over longer distances. All rides include a rest stop at a local establishment to enjoy coffee, a snack, and camaraderie.

Benefits to Members. Club activities, including regular rides, are social and welcoming to new members. The annual Summer Ride & Picnic and New Year’s Day Ride and Brunch are free to members and easily cover the cost of membership. Various programs throughout the year help members stay engaged with their training and education.

Benefits to the Community. SRCC supports the greater community through monetary donations, volunteerism, and support to other organizations’ cycling events. A significant portion of charitable contributions is allocated to the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition (SCBC) for advocacy and education, while another portion, “Members’ Choice,” directs charitable contributions to recipients nominated and voted on by members. SRCC also maintains a well-stocked warehouse of equipment and supplies needed to produce cycling events. The warehouse supports SRCC’s own events, as well as the Giro Bello (Rotary Club of Santa Rosa), the Tour de Fuzz (Law Enforcement Chaplaincy of Sonoma County), the Marin Century (Marin Cycling Club), and other regional events.

Join Us! Annual dues are $25 for individuals and $40 for families. Monthly Members’ Meetings (at a local pizza parlor) are a great way for new members to get to know others and learn more about the club. Members attending for the first time get a meal and beverage on the club!

The Wine Country Century is SRCC’s flagship event and largest fundraiser. All revenue after expenses goes to support the activities of the club, cycling advocacy, and a wide range of community charitable causes.
